Control horns, is it just me or... ?

Someone posted a link to some new products by Sullivan...and they have longer arms specifically to get the clevis point over the hinge line.

Personally, on several airplanes with pull-pull elevators AND rudders, I've used the long 6-32 bolt, inserted perpendicular to the chord line of the control surface in a hardwood dowel, secured with plain ol' blind nuts which are reversed, then cut the little tangs off.  Install the Goldberg nylon 1/8" control horns, and the deal is infinitely adjustable, easy, and durable.

Since the offsets are equally behind the hinge line both up and down, the tx easily compensates.  Pull pull only has the side being pulled or released doing any work, anytime, anyway.  

Think about it- the work begins when one side pulls, and the return to center is controlled by the release of the pull.  The "other side" is NOT "pulling it back"....at least in my experience....
