direct orders

Hi All,

Just a question to those that may have had experience with ordering directly
from PL prod or ZN or the like.

Just today I received a Lazulite and a Partner from PL. I ordered these
directly as we dont have a local distributor. I'd been waiting for months
and was quite excited to finally receive them. Not to mention the fact that
my hip pocket is now an empty cavern!

The Partner arrived OK but the Lazulite (fuselage) is trashed. Question
is....how did any of you out there in pattern land handle the 'insurance'
issues with this sort of situation.
I have contacted PL, but was told to start by handling it through the
freight companies involved.

I'm just a bit ( ok ...extremely) concerned that I may get the runaround
with all this, by all parties concerned. I would hate for all this to turn
to...well you know.

Anyone out there who could share their experiences with this sort of
situation??

Regards

Tom
