Intermediate maneuver questions

Thank for you quick replies both of Steve Maxwell & Steve Sterling!

Looks like I miss stated in my previous posting.
After the centered cobra roll with half rolls up & down, there is a One-half
Cuban Eight that is followed by Non-Rolling Triangle loop.

My question was that.
Since Steve Maxwell stated that the Half Cuban eight take off half the box,
both Cobra Roll and Triangle loop is centered, and there has to be 15 meter
straight line between maneuvers,
where does the knife edge position of the half roll in the half Cuban eight
has to be?

Somewhere in the half the box, centered vertically and slightly moved to
outer position horizontally?

My reason to put the Cuban Eight in the previous posting was to find out how
far the Half Cuban Eight has to move.

I don't want to make people confused.
Let me know if anything is unclear.

Thank you,~

Ihncheol Park

The all just follow each other. You never do 2 centered manuvers in a row.
- Enter the box going upwind
- Cuban 8 with 1/2 rolls is centered
- Stall turn as an upwind turnaround (end of the box)
- 2 horizontal rolls are centered
- humpty bump as a downwind turnaround
- Cobra roll with half rolls up and down (centered, going upwind)
- One Half cuban 8 as another upwind turnaround
- Non-rolling Triangle Loop (centered,going downwind)
- Half Square loop as another downwind turnaround
- Outside loop from the top (centered, going upwind)
- Split S at the upwind end of the box to turn around
- Inverted straight flight (centered, going downwind)
- Stall turn with full roll up, downwind turnaround
- Square loop (centered upwind)
- 1/2 Reverse Cuban 8 (another upwind turnaround)
- Two half rolls in opposite directions (centered-downwind)
- Land it.

Subject: Intermediate maneuver questions

Hi, All,

Back from contests?
I have a few dumb questions to ask. I have trouble finding where to
position the maneuvers. I didn't have a chance to attend judging seminar.

Since entire sequences (except take off & landing) are done with in the box
(60 degrees left, right, and above of pilot position as center), I am trying
to draw all the maneuvers within the rectangular box.

When doing the Cobra Roll with Half rolls up and down (up-wind), I believe
this maneuver is centered in the middle of box horizontally.
Right?

Is the half Cuban eight a turn around maneuver that starts and ends in half
of box in left or right side?

Cuban eight has both half rolls on vertically and horizontally centered in
the box.
Where does the half roll occur? Vertical and horizontal center of half box?

Since the next maneuver is Non-rolling triangle loop (which I believe is a
center maneuver), the position of the half Cuban eight is not quite
understandable.

Please, let me know.
Thank you,
