Bearings for YS 140L?

Hi, All,
I have a few questions regarding bearings in YS 140L.

Has anyone tried Boca Bearings in this engine?
do they last long?
Also, do I need to replace the front bearing that is a little bit firm?
While the rear bearing is kinda loose (I could feel a little roughness when
turning the rear bearing with finger stuck in it).  The front bearing (has
red seal) is a little firm not really smooth).

How do you know if the bearings are bad if not totally broken?

Based on the manual, there is a oil seal behind the front bearing.

Is it plastic or metal?  Does it melt?  How about the red seal that the
front bearing bearing has?

I am about to remove bearings from the crankcase, so I want to make sure if
there is anything that I need to keep in mind.
