Finesse 120 Conversion to Fixed Gear

Hello All,
How hard would it be to convert an already assembled Finesse 120 from
pneumatic retracts to fixed gear.  Looking at the Bolly USA site I see they
have 60, 140 Lg. and 140 Wide carbon gear.  Which gear would be most
suitable?  Would I just reinforce the fuse with a 1/4 inch ply at the first
former?  I think doing this would lighten up the aircraft a bit.  Thanks for
all your input.
