Ed,

IMAC has nothing to do with rude, 3D flying.  Yes, IMAC offers a Freestyle event at the contest.  Less than 5 % of the IMAC pilots fly in the Freestyle.  IMAC is about Scale Aerobatics.

Sounds like your club has a few rogue, rude, Giant Scale pilots, who may or may not fly in IMAC contest.
