Same here, I knew I had a bearing going because of the noise it was making,
then it got where the idle trim would change, then got where it would not
throttle up after a few seconds at idle. Changed the bearing without making
any other adjustments, and all is well again. So yes,  I believe this is
also an indication of bearing failure.
