Filter Failure

Sounds like time to use a different filter....I use a filter from
Sheldon's that screws together, has a 'O' ring 
and a internal filter unit similar to a replaceable auto fuel filter.
Never had a problem with it.

I was wondering if anyone had a failure similar to mine.  I fly a Y.S. 
1.40L in my Advantage and discovered a flooded fuselage caused by the 
DuBro 162 The Final Filter coming apart. There were two halves lying in 
the bottom of the fuselage with several ounces of fuel.  Maybe it's time

to move the filter outside the firewall
