No PBG D4 Championship

My concern is simply the planes. Junk maybe, but all good funfly ships none the less. In 4 years of nightfly antics and a barrage of bottle rockets...no one has hardly come close to actually hitting a plane.
I think the paintball gun would likely change that, and not in a good way. I think I'm going to have to say no to that one Scott.
I'd also like to reiterate what Mike alluded to in that for those that haven't attended before...this is really a pretty nice pattern contest. We get a great turn out from both D4 & D5 with a few D1 and D3 people thrown in...It's a WONDERFUL site...SECURE heated/air conditioned club house/running water and POWER. This is huge...in that most pilots leave their planes assembled and on charge over night. Nice paved run-way...and arguably the best steak dinner on the circuit.
Oh yeah...and if you haven't heard...a hoot of a night fly afterwards.
Ok..I'm done selling. Sept 20&21st Can't wait to see everyone
Mark

Why don't we just bring out some surface to air missiles. I mean where does this insanity end? Here's the deal, we attempt to fly our junkyist planes with glow sticks on them in the pitch dark and grown men shoot bottle rockets at them. Seems fair on that level doesn't it? Better yet you can shoot at my plane with a paint ball gun if I can carry munitions on my plane. Man I hope it's wet enough in Kentucky because this is getting interesting. Oh and don't forget that somewhere in there they have a pretty good pattern contest. It's getting like pro wrestling here. Machinegun Mike

I hate to say it...since I'm all for fun...but my initial thought is that the accuracy is a little too high...and the velocity the same. Not sure though...any one else in D4 care to reply? It'll be your (and my) plane he's aiming at at night.
Do they have glow paint???
