If there isn't a rule, there isn't a rule.

The AMA could make a new rule if enough people want it to
that FAI contestants must stick to the type of equipment
they qualified with.  But as things stand now, my opinion
(for what it's worth) is that the guys are free to compete
with whatever they judge is best.

I doubt very much that Jason wants to lose.  He's a
competitor, isn't he?  Even if he has some additional
motive because of business arrangements, it's still a
motive to win, not lose.  The better he does with electric,
the better it is for his business.

If we want to make a rule that no one with a business interest
can participate, then we'd better start at the top with
Dave Brown and Tony Stillman.
