Fuel tank vent location for Pumped 2-stroke engines & more

I have the vent line go straight down, and then it connects to a pipe which
goes through the fuselage floor (straight down), and then through the belly
pan.  It outside about an inch.  Seem to work pretty good.  I also tried
using a fuel dot right beside the gas line fuel dot, but when the tank was
full it just sprayed me, or my box, or the wing, and ran down the side of
the fuselage.
