SERVO GEARS

The conversion kit for the 8411 to the 8411SA is part# JRPS8411SAC

One note I leave the metal output shaft in the servos that I convert. The
reason for this is the Single metal output gear offers me personally an
advantage with the machine screw into for the servo control arm. This also
gives some extra strength against side loads on the output shaft. There is
nothing wrong with the nylon output gear.....and the only reason I change
over to nylon gears in the metal geared digitals is purely to delay servo
maintenance and prolong the servos geartrain life....There are applications
and times when the metal gears are better than the nylon ones. In my
applications I find the 8411SA to be a superb rudder servo...Its also a
great servo on other applications like Ailerons and Elevator.
