Need Focus Help

On my Focus the plates were too big.  I cut them down to fit.  I am using a
Webra 1.45 with a Gator mount.  You would need to be using a really short
engine and mount combo to the plates to be too small.

You could just use what you have, or get some lite ply an cut new plates.

Hi Focus Assemblers--
In the instructions for the motor box, it says "Reinforce the front of the
motor box with the supplied plates (fig.15)."

The picture of fig. 15, it looks like they are putting the plate on the top
and bottom of the box. Also, the plates aren't large enough to fit on the
front plate.

So what did others do? Interpretation?
