Too quiet . . . . weight savings idea.

Maybe I am missing something too, but can't it be made into a true 7 
channel receiver by leaving the channel 6 output intact and adding a 
pigtail from the channel 7 lead on the decoder chip, the common positive 
bus and common ground?
