   - Our field has been closed as of yesterday, due to a no-fly NOTAM, in order to keep the airways open for fire fighting planes.
   - The fires are 0% contained

   - There is no way the situation could possibly improve enough to have a contest a week from now
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news... FYI, I had to evacuate two days ago and am safe in Bend. As far as I know, all of our club members are safe as well.Hoping for the best,Sean
