[NSRCA-dist8] Medford Pattern Contest Cancelled

Hello everybody,
I hope that all of you are safe during these terrible times.
Unfortunately, I need to cancel our contest:

  *   Our field has been closed as of yesterday, due to a no-fly NOTAM, in order to keep the airways open for fire fighting planes.
  *   The fires are 0% contained
  *   Air quality and visibility are terrible
  *   There is no way the situation could possibly improve enough to have a contest a week from now

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news... FYI, I had to evacuate two days ago and am safe in Bend. As far as I know, all of our club members are safe as well.
