So by pre-register, are you saying that contestants need to register before the beginning of the contest season, or just before each contest?

Just an update on confirmed dates for 2016. As you may be aware, Mike Riggs has decided not to hold a contest in Boise this year. We are looking at alternatives. There has been some talk of a contest at Snahomish near Seattle, but that is not likely this year.

 

It would be nice to have a comparable East side district contest to replace Boise, but that takes a willing club and a field that can host a contest. I have been in contact with the Woodburn Oregon club President and he is receptive to us going back to that location. The open month is June, which I hope to have confirmed soon. 

 

Here are the confirmed dates:

 

Judging Seminar: Wilsonville Oregon April 30th and May 1st

Richland Spring Kick Off May 21, 22

June: Open

Redmond July 9, 10

Molalla Aug 13, 14

Richland Fun in the Sun Sept 3, 4

Medford D7 D8 Shootout (D8 Championship) Sept 24, 25

 

You will note, the D8 Championship will be held at Medford this year.

 

One other thing. With our new scoring system, it is imperative we pre register for the contest you plan to attend. The new system has a learning curve and we need to help reduce the scorers work load as much as possible.
