[NSRCA-dist8] D8 stuff

OK guys a bit of an update.

We had our NSRCA board meeting last night and the proposed Masters and
Advanced sequences have been approved. The new schedules are on the site
now.We will be flying these for the next two years and at that time all
sequences (possibly excluding Sportsman) will change at that time to get us
on the same schedule as FAI.

Also, Mike Riggs is stepping down from his position as the pattern column
writer for the AMA magazine by year end. We are soliciting folks that would
entertain taking his position. If you are aware of anyone (or yourself)
please forward names to me. The article is published every other month with
a payment of $250 per article. When you see Mike, please thank him for his
great articles and commitment to Pattern.

OK...guys false alarm. I was of the understanding I would be terming out as
DVP by year end. As you may be aware I took over for Rex mid term. The
bylaws state DVP's will term out after two *elected *terms. I served one
year of Rex's term and have been elected once, so I am eligible for one
more two year term. Long story short, I will remain (to some peoples
chagrin) the D8 DVP. Now keep in mind it is an elected position by the
members, so if anyone wants to run against me, let me know and I will be
your Campaign Manager!  😀
