[NSRCA-dist8] Boise Pattern

Still waiting for pictures. But I had 8 BARKS members enter our first *Fun
"Pattern" Fly* today. Every one of the contestants said they - schedule
permitting - will enter our real pattern contest next May! I consider that a
win. Other than 2 Chaos' there where no other pattern airplanes entered.
After flying everybody agreed you don't need a pattern airplane to fly
sportsman; but now everybody wants a pattern plane! All agreed this type of
event should become one of our monthly fun flys every year. My current
thinking is to turn it into a April pattern primer sort of thing before our
contest.

Most importantly, After acting as CD, Score keeper and chief bottle washer
today. I have nothing but respect and admiration for the people that run our
D8 contests. Actually I was glad I didn't fly because I was really busy all
day.
