Went flying today for the first time this season. It was beautiful day out
at the field. Just wanted to report there where 4 of us hacking are way
though the Sportsman pattern the best we could. Boy do we need help. While
judging ourselves, in jest we came up with a special BARKS (club) rule for
our upcoming pattern contest the weekend of May 15th. Drum role please: The
special BARKS rule is "If the judges are looking away and don't see your
maneuver, you get a zero". The way we where flying today we'll be getting a
lot of zeros even if the judges are looking. Seriously, we have a lot of
enthusiasm, very little talent and intend on having fun!
