~600 flights on the MKS HV69 in my Allure Bipe on ailerons and still going strong. I have them hardmounted with 3mm aluminum button head screws. Mounting in this way is very light and increases the stability of the mounting (only 2 screws).
The HBL550LX is another option for rudder (or monoplane ailerons). Lower price point than the HBL575sl (also a great servo) but plenty of torque and very fast.

Dave Lockhart

They are good choices, but pricey. The MKS servos work really well.Been a team pilot and flying them, for almost 10 years. The hv69's will work well on ailerons and elevators. The HV747 work really well on direct drive rudders. On a pull pull rudder. I like the HBL 575 sl or the HV 1220, mainly because it has a greater foot print and give you more stability on most mounts .This will be a great weight savings and also much more economical.
