[NSRCA-discussion] Canandaigua contest

Just going to have to be creative for calling. Headset and cell phone or maybe the CD could supply a pa. 8)

I am CD for 2 contests in Ontario. The first is a week after Canandaigua and second at the end of July. I have been cautiously optimistic that the Fergus contest on June 13th contest can still happen but unless fields are allowed to reopen soon and the ban on gatherings of more than 5 people is lifted we won’t be able to hold it. Of course we also need to get actual spring like weather too.

Pilots meeting will now start with everyone taking their temperature and getting a mask if they don’t have one :) Anyone coughing gets sent home.

Discussion on infection control, not touching your face etc.

And then about the flying......

And Steve you usually don’t use a caller anyway so you’re good :)

I'm in. But my situation is different, since I can day trip both days. I would believe that social distancing rules will still be in effect. How can you hear your caller when he is 6 feet behind you and wearing a mask? What about handing clipboards back and forth between judges? I hate to sound like a downer, since I usually go to about 8-9 contests per season, but I doubt there will be any contests this summer, in the Northeast or in Ontario.
