June makes it rough for the northern guys who don’t get to start practicing until late May early June. Another site may be the only alternative. 

I have to meet with the AMA and all the ED’s of the other SIGs on October 12th in Muncie over the schedule. We won’t know anything until then. 

I just wanted to get a feel for how bad the July 6-10th date would affect attendance. It looks like about a 25% decline in the normal attendance.

Changing the NATS dates to any week other than the one used in 2019 may place one or more D1 contests at a disadvantage, or need to also be moved due to lack of local event CD. Our D1 2020 season may have to wait to be organized after the NATS dates are solidified for 2020.

The AMA site is booked for the first two weeks of August for a helicopter event. The last weeks are after school starts.

I think the later the better. After all here in the cold areas we don’t get to start practice maybe the middle of May but this past year it was June due to the wet weather and winds. Plus next year it’s a new schedule so, sometime around mid or late August sounds good.

If the 2020 Nats were held July 6 th thru the 10 th , which means you would be traveling to Muncie on the 4 th of July weekend, and the following weekend is the Ball State University Triathelon that normally make hotel reservations almost impossible to get for the Friday July 10 th thru that weekend, (note the awards banquet would be held on the Friday night July 10 th ), will you attend? 
If you have no plans on attending the Nats, please do not respond to this question. I am trying to see, of those who normally plan to attend and those planning to attend in 2020 who would change their mind and not attend due to the dates.
