The practice sites will open Saturday July 13th thru Saturday July 20th. They will be open during the event. The competition sites will be closed Saturday and Sunday July 13th & 14th, but will be open for practice on Monday and Tuesday July 15th & 16th.
We will work the competition sites with a sign up list on site. Your name can only be put on the list once. Once you fly then you can cross off your name and enter it again at the bottom of the list. This is to give everyone a chance to fly on these sites.
At the practice sites, I would request that if a new person shows up to fly, he be given priority to make his first flight ahead of those who have already made a flight on the site.
Please be courteous to all other pilots, and help make sure everyone has a chance to make a practice flight. If a practice site is occupied, please set up in the same area and side of the practice site and work with the pilots already flying there, don't set up across the runway from them or in a way that becomes an obstacle for others.
Remember that the airport is restricted use and not closed to full size aircraft and we must always yield to full size traffic. Keep a watchful eye out for planes. All of the East West taxiways South of site 3 are designated as practice sites.
Do not set up, park, or drive on the main runway. The main runway must be kept clear at all times.
Stay well clear of the taxi lights while driving on the taxiways. They are very expensive to replace.
