Apologies Scott! I was speaking of personal needs, not the scoring so I didn’t include you.

You obviously deserve a shout-out for developing the bedrock of the overall scoring system and your support before and during the contest.

Hmmm...it would appear my 100 plus hours of setup, coding, testing and support of MasterScoring aren't worthy of a shout-out (especially considering it came smack in the middle of our relocation to NC... nah, I had nothing better to do.)

Tell you what, I'll make the drinks next year and someone else can do the setup and code all the last minute changes!

Thanks all!

I had an amazing team supporting my personal needs from shelter, to food, to airplane delivery and pickup at site 4, etc. not to mention fireworks, cocktail preparation, etc. that allowed me to focus on ensuring everyone had a great experience judging and receiving scores at the NATS:

Frank Capone -- housing arrangements, bed arrangements, float plane flying on a pond, long-distance plane schlepping extraordinaire, 4:30 am coffee prep, breakfast, Starbucks pickup, etc.
Jon Carter -- long-distance co-pilot for Frank, adult beverage prep, juggling judging, and loader of wrong Allure wings to ensure I could focus on scoring instead of flying ;-)
Jon Bruml -- Fireworks, amazing tuna sandwich lunch prep, healthful food supervisor, caller, and airplane load/unload technician
Derek Emmet -- Fireworks, AMAZING chicken taco prep, airplane delivery and pickup, uncomplaining judge, late-night career coaching and more!
Al Glenn -- Super on-top of it ED who ensured I had what I needed to have on-time setup at every site every day of the NATS as well as coordinating to ensure we had excellent wi-fi at all sites sufficient to support real-time publication of scores throughout the early flights.

Vince Bortone of D5 who ensured the D5 scoring system was on-site in a timely manner to provide needed equipment to run 3 sites. (along with the 3.6667 sets I brought and the set kept at the AMA).

I wanted to add my kudos, too. Peter, I never saw you sitting down the entire NATS. You had boundless energy! I'm surprised you found the time to compete. The eScribe worked flawlessly. We had a little snafu on day one, but we as judges, got impatient. It was only a matter of waiting a couple of more minutes while the system re-booted and we were in business. It worked well for the entire NATS. Hope you have finally had a chance to relax with your favorite beverage. Great job! ...Charlie Barrera

Thanks to Peter Vogel for his work running scoring at the Nats. He pretty much gave up his chances for a good result in Intermediate by taking on that task. I don't know how many times I saw him rushing from site to site to fix little glitches.

Peter, your work is much appreciated.
