Don't use bubble wrap.  It expands at cabin and cargo area  pressure.  
(8000')  If possible, make the crate a triangle.  That  way, it can only be on 
top of a pile of cartons.  Large rectangular boxes  are seen by shipping 
companies as great bottom cartons.
