Great information- I knew Stamina was discontinued but wasn’t sure about an equivalent. Thank you Earl!

Shell Stamina RL2 has been the grease of choice for Hacker gearboxes in the US for years, various folks have purchased 12 tube cartons and sold their excess – maybe someone will offer some for sale. The Stamina is discontinued and replaced by Shell Gadus S3 T100 2 (S2 V100 2 is also OK). Amazon lists the latter for $7/12 oz., but shipping from the UK is $27. Sometimes these show up on eBay also.

For the Hacker gearboxes NLGI Grade 2 is the best thickness, look for a lithium based PAO synthetic designed for high speed / low load applications with a temp range of 100C+ if you choose to go this route.
