[NSRCA-discussion] Nats Equipment List

Hey, I've witnessed what Jason can spot falling from an aircraft when he
watched a battery pack depart from an aircraft at I believe was Hodges field
in Andersonville and he was able to follow it all the way to the ground.
The battery pack hit the ground on the far side of the lake and Jason walked
right up to it and retrieved it. I won't say whose battery pack it was.
Jason is definitely eagle eyes.

Hey, it was a compliment! He even sees things that fall off airplanes that
virtually no one else sees. Ask me how I know....

Oh you guys....

There's nothing wrong with giving low scores IF you EARN it lol. Or high
scores if you deserve them. I reward as well as hammer depending on the
maneuvers flown in front of me, not my likes or dislikes of pilot, plane,
power system, radio, or event like Nats or local contest (Worlds... not sure
I'd qualify if I tried lol). I thought that's what it's supposed to be?

They might not like the scores Jason gives them. NOTHING escapes him!

I'm pretty sure one of those classes isn't possible, unless I get a 30 min
break for each of my own flights. And if it was the first day of the Nats,
I'm game. But not the 3rd, I'd like to use that for my F & Unk practice day.

Sounds like Jason just volunteered to Judge Sportsman, Intermediate and
Advanced at the Nats next year! Good for you man. That's setting a great
example for everyone to see that the Nats is a time to come together as
competitors from across the country. What better way than to hear feedback
from the top of the food chain.

One of my favorite issues Ron (Nats, TOC and Worlds) and first thing I did
was read the list of equipment then look and see if any pictures showed what
I wanted to see from the list.

Good job Jeff and Derek. Read through the whole list. I wish I had had more
time to hang out at Site 1 and see all the non-2m planes in Sportsman and
see my friends over there.

I did the Nats report in Model Aviation for many years and it's a big job
getting the data from all the entrants.

Good job!

Hi everyone,

The list has been posted on the website for your perusal.

 <https://www.nsrca.us/index.php/nats/2017>
https://www.nsrca.us/index.php/nats/2017 - scroll down to the "Contestant
Equipment List" line and click the link - a PDF will open.

Thanks to Jeff Worsham for collecting all the data and inputting it into the
spreadsheet!! I believe that Jeff got most of the pilots.

Best,

-Derek
