That is news to me, Mark.  I have heard nothing from AMA since the vote failed for Akron.  I had not received any word on a time limit for bids.

That’s currently unknown.  It’s my understanding that the committee has until tomorrow to receive formal bids for the team trials.  It’s also my understanding that a bid IS being prepared for another venue.

Akron/NEF has not to my knowledge submitted a bid.  It will be used for the team trials by default by the committee if no other viable bid is submitted, but if another formal bid is submitted I expect it would be accepted.
