Yeah see what you got me into uh I mean what you made me get myself into? That’s the last time I do THAT! LOL

BTW – I turned auto correct off on my phone. It causes too much trouble (as you can see) if you don’t go back and re-read EVERY word. Sometimes things that pass “spell check” are just wrong.

WOW, sorry guys, I never intended to have one auto-correct cause so much problem. I will be proof reading more in the future. Thank goodness this wasn't a scored maneuver, you guys are tough.

John,

What's "wrong with this country" is that the federal government stepped in and pretends to know how to educate our children better than locals do. No Child Left Behind is making our granddaughter cram 4 years of high school into 2 calendar years because she was hospitalized for illness and treated at home for 2 years after she started HS. Other wise she had to settle for a GED degree. She is doing it getting A's and playing flute in the HS band. Federal standards for testing have created a school system in which children are taught to the government tests. Bush's NCLB program is the greatest disservice to school children the feds have ever created -- even worse than the faa "registration" program!!! Now, just wait till Trump is elected...if you think things are crazy now.

BTW, in real life I was a psychologist, trained in how to create, administer and score tests for a variety of goals, so I know what I am talking about.

Stepping off my soapbox, now.

Oh what’s wrong with this country? Not to be a pr*ck but I think you mean “anywhere” not “any ware”. That doesn’t even make sense. Not even if you marque dos. J

I bought some Avery 18660 clear address labels and used their online tool to create label with all my pertinent info (including the FAA logo). I stuck them to the trailing edge of the wing or aileron depending on the scheme. I pretend they are FAI World Competition stickers ;).

Subject: [NSRCA-discussion] FAA number affixation ?

Sorry to change the subject guys, but I've been struggling with the quandary of how to affix my FAA number to my aircraft and was aware of a previous post where it was indicated that the # could be posted inside the aircraft as long as it could be accessed.

I originally figured that I'd mark it up on a piece of masking tape and stick it somewhere that could be made easily visible.

I had a slow day today and got to thinking about the problem again and a question entered my thought process,......which was.......what do we ALL have as part of our airborne equipment ?....hmmmm, BATTERIES !!!!!!!!!!

Why can't I sit down with all my packs and stick a piece of masking tape on each of my battery packs with the FAA # imprinted on each one.

Now I don't know about you , but my planes don't leave the ground without a battery pack so that there's not much chance of putting up an aircraft illegally. So my question is, can I legally do this or is there some FAA restriction that forbids such action. It sure would simplify my life.

What say ye, eh ?
