As of the weekend AMA expo, we no longer need to have the FAA number on the aircraft,  just your AMA number on the outside of the plane, however you need to have on you your FAA registration. .

 Start out by typing:
 "faa.gov" ONLY in your browser's address
 bar.  Then scroll down to the bottom of that web page and
 follow the links to "Register your UAS".

 It should only ask you for
 your:

 1) email address
 2) a password
 3) a response to
 a confirmation email sent back to you
 4)
 some personal information: First / Last Name.  Physical
 Address.  Everything else is OPTIONAL.
 5)
 Your Credit Card information
 6) An emailed
 and a printable copy of your shiny new FAA certificate.
