All this rhetoric is making us aware of electrical safety issues in pattern flying. That’s good in itself whether you use an arming device or use a switch on your radio. Redundant systems: arming and radio switch are safer still. They both work when used. 



Someone mentioned how can you tell if the plan is energized. Hmm, how about an LED light at the top of the plan just behind the canopy that is lit when the system is energized. Oh my, that’s another worm for the cam.
