Several have asked about preparations needed for the judging seminar.  You can take the online tests at NSRCA.us website and download appropriate material there.  

 

In case anyone is wondering, it is 6:30 a.m. here in Warsaw.

 


The U.S. team went out to dinner the other night with the Lithuanian and French teams.  I ordered appetizer of Pierogi
 The pierogi was excellent.  Joseph had two.  The dough tasted more sweet, almost like a pastry dough, and the inside was a mix of cabbage, ground beef and mushrooms (you can order a variety of fillings).



Opening ceremonies were very nice with all teams proceeding to the center area.  After introductions and remarks there was a live orchestra and band which played a mixture of classic and Jazz mixed together at the same time.  It was very different type of music.  There was then demonstrations including a tow-plane with a banner saying “welcome to Poland”, and indoor combat match with streamers, and a demonstration of a precision aerobatics flight.  There were about 300 spectators in attendance during opening ceremonies.  Dave should be providing some updates on the F3P website.
