MasterScoring v1.0.3.6 supports the import of the NSRCA registration data.
(Import button on People tab)
There is also an Export button so you can easily move contestants from one
contest file to another.
Import is keyed on AMA number - please make sure it's correct when
registering.
Expected file layout for import:
(Expecting column header row in row 1, column header values don't matter as
column position is used, only highlighted* columns are used)

The CD has the ability to export the registrations into a comma delimited
file. I'm not sure what format the different scoring programs use for
importing, but if they can import the following fields in the order they
appear then no problems:
"Attendee Number",Attendee,"Attendee Name","Attendee Email","Attendee
Username",Confirmed?,Waiting,"Attendance State?","Did Attend?","Full
Name",Address,City/Town,State/Province,"Zip Code","Phone Number","AMA
Number","NSRCA Number","Competition Class",Frequency,"Registration
Time","Modification Time"

As Derek said, the DVP has to choose that option. On the example Derek
gave, it is at the bottom of the information page.
The D3 sign up is a left over from before the NSRCA site had the capability.
When I ran the Huntsville contest, there wasn't an obvious way to import
from the D3 site into the scoring program, so I did it by hand. I'm not
sure about the NSRCA registration.
Derek, is there a way to import from the NSRCA registration into the scoring
programs?

Maybe I'm being dense, but, while I can see the contest listings, I don't
see how to preregister.

We already have the feature. The RVP's can just enter their contest into the
"Events" section on the NSRCA site and it will have a pre-registration
section at the bottom. I did it for our D8 contest and it worked great.

Ok, THAT'S awesome. I had no idea anyone was doing that. IMAC has had this
nationally for a while now.
Sooooo how do we figure out a way to role this out consistently to all
districts?? It almost seems like this should be on the NSRCA site. Jon??
Thanks Ron!

I'm in NSRCA D-3 and I rarely get the chance to go to club contests outside
my district, but this year a bunch of Eglin Aero Modellers from Florida will
be going over to the D-6 contest on Crowley, LA. I went on the D-6 web page
to preregister for the contest, but couldn't find a way to do it. Then I
looked around some other district web pages and also found that there were
no preregistration options.
I hope I have piqued your interest to see what we use in D-3: Go here:
https://sites.google.com/site/nsrcad3/home and click on the options in the
upper/left corner of the page. You can look at the contest schedule, as
well as preregister for a contest and look to see who else will be there. I
believe this was developed by D-3's Ken Blackwell
(kblackw at roadrunner.com<mailto:kblackw at roadrunner.com>) from Enterprise, AL.
I hope I've encouraged you to ping your district to offer the same service.
