[NSRCA-discussion] Orange County CA flying fields

Hi Arch,

I'm in the Orange County area. I'm just getting into pattern so take it for what's it's worth. I fly out of my club field (www.sgvrcl.org) Whitter Narrows which is about 45 minutes from Newport Beach. I do see other pattern guys there on occasion. A somewhat busy field. Sometimes you can get lucky. 600ft runway and can do nitro/gas

There is a field in Tustin at the Great Park under construction but have never flown there. Don't think they allow large planes and when I looked at it the runway was small.

Another field is in Chino. Prado. Plenty big enough. Only been there a couple times but nice field. http://pvmac.com/about-pvmac/pradofield.html
