I'm just getting into pattern so take it for what's it's worth. I fly out of my club field (<a href="http://www.sgvrcl.org">www.sgvrcl.org</a>) Whitter Narrows which is about 45 minutes from Newport Beach. I do see other pattern guys there on occasion. A somewhat busy field. Sometimes you can get lucky. 600ft runway and can do nitro/gas</div><div><br></div><div>There is a field in Tustin at the Great Park under construction but have never flown there. Don't think they allow large planes and when I looked at it the runway was small.</div><div><br></div><div>Another field is in Chino. Prado. Plenty big enough.
