[NSRCA-discussion] Carbon-Z-Splendor

Bill,

I've had once since March and I love it. I've gotten probably 150 flights on
it so far and have tweaked and adjusted the airplane to my liking. It's a
fair representation of what the Oxai Splendor feels like and with a little
work and tweaking to suite your tastes can be a viable practice airplane.
Other than the use of 6S batteries (since the pattern crowd does not use 6S,
but the general market uses this battery a lot for 500-sized helis), the
biggest complaint I've seen with people and this airplane are the rates for
pattern. I've gotten enough airplanes from Quique to know that his rates do
not work for me. They're in the ballpark, but I feel that it's something
lost in translation between mode one and mode two, so don't be afraid to use
your rate setup for the airplane. You will use less expo, but the rates will
probably be similar to what you have in your radio for your competition
airplane.

If you would like, contact me off-list to discuss my radio setup, perhaps I
can give you a good starting point.

Best regards,

Ryan

Has anyone flown the Carbon-Z-Splendor? What are your thoughts about the
plane?
