It would be great if you can make it.
I assume you plan to get here after the video session??
Bring Grunt and Anthony too.
We have an enclosed shelter that should work in a pinch. I'll see if I can
dig up a space heater.
Better yet pray for good weather.
If the weather looks real bad maybe we'll try and reschedule.
I'll keep you posted.
Thanks

I'm likely to be down, and possibly Sean too (if there's no track meet and
not scheduled to work). Is there shelter at the field? It looks like it
might be a little chilly.
Haven't flown a single flight yet.it's gonna be ugly.

The Columbus Aeros club in Grove City, OH will be hosting a judging clinic
on Sat. April 20th starting at 9 am. Below is the agenda. Pilots not
interested in the judging video and subsequent discussions can meet at the
field any time after 10:30. The weather is looking promising. I will
provide directions to the church where the video and discussion will be held
in a day or too.
Agenda:
1. 9 - 9:30 am Watch judging video
2. 9:30 - 10:00 am - General Pattern Discussion
3. 10 - 10:30 am - Travel to field
4. 10:30 - 5 pm - Demonstration flights, practice judging & open
practice
We plan to fly each class twice. The first flight for each class will be
flown by a pilot in a higher class to demonstrate how each schedule should
be flown. The second flight for each class will be flown by someone in the
appropriate class and that flight will be judged by a highly experienced
judge and scores and commentary given out loud to provide real time feedback
to both student judges and pilots. The purpose of the second flights will be
to calibrate your eyes to what the "experts" see. After those flights we
will open the field to practice flights and coaching. We plan to let the
sportsman go first then everyone is on their own.
No food will be provided so pack a lunch.
Let me know if you plan to attend.
Hope you can make it.
Thanks
Ron Hansen
