I think it is.  (2 of an 8 followed by 3 of 4) was what he stated..  if  I am to interpret based on what he stated Am I wrong?

  The maneuver is called a 6 point roll. each point is at 60 degrees.

    Without having the accurate maneuver description  I would suggest 1st 2 points are 45º rolls with the following 3 being 90º rolls.
