[NSRCA-discussion] Rules Proposals

I’ve decided whichever way the rules proposals get decided by the Contest Board really makes no difference to me. At my age I probably don’t have a lot of years left where I’ll have the physical skills to fly in competition. I’m going to build my planes as I want and at the cost I’m willing to spend. If they make weight - good! If not, I’ll fly them in local competition only. If local contest start weighting planes and disqualify me I’ll just go fishing more.

Same thing with the Class rules. I’m going to fly the class I feel most comfortable with according to my opinion of my skills. If it violates some rule and the contest management won’t let me fly it - more fishing.

I’ve been flying pattern for over 40 years now. I’ve seen contest attendance go from 50+ at some local contest to sometimes less than 15. We must really be doing something right!
