Hi Scott, thank you very much for the information. I do understand the numbers who move on but had never seen them so designated. Since there is still one more day of rounds I wonder if the cut has already been made. I had thought that the top 3 scores would be used to determine the semi's and then on to the finals. I hope that you are at the NATS and enjoying the good competition and companionship of those in this great sport. Ron and I have been together for about 50 years now so I do know quite a bit about the sport. And last year I did attend the NATS because it was the World's and it really is one fantastic time with so many great people. Thanks again, Karen Lockhart

The asterisk denotes “winning placement” (or “in the money”…if only!) The definition of “winning” varies based on context:
FAI Prelim – 20 go on to Semi’s so the top 20 have an asterisk.
FAI Semi’s – 8 go on to finals so the top 8 will have an asterisk.
Masters Prelim - 8 go on to finals so the top 8 will have an asterisk.
Intermediate and Advanced – First 5 places are trophy winners (I hope!) so the first 5 will have an asterisk.
Masters and FAI Finalists – Top 5 will have an asterisk.

Hi Derek, Karen Lockhart here. 2 quick, I hope, questions. What are the "*"s in front of the top Masters class flyers' scores? And why in the Advanced Class scores are the top scores not in normalized style? i.e. 2's, 3's, 1's, etc. Thanks so much. Wish it was easier to be in touch with Ron and Dave. Karen Lockhart
