Hey Mike

If you want I could buy one from Tower and sell it to you for $200 to stay
within your price requirements.

That is unacceptable, it is entirely too easy and inexpensive, surely there
is an FAI rule that doesn't allow that.

Tower sells a nice metric reamer that's perfect for 8 & 10mm prop holes.
Much better than the Fox. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?

(Twist drills aren't really the way to go - drill press or not.)

Keith,
   Silence....I kill you!

Warm and loving regards,
Scott

PS - So I guess I should have said "Do I start with a drill bit slightly
larger than the EXISTING hole...." Good grief man. Don't make any
grammatical errors around Mr. Hoard. :) Thanks guys, I'll start with the
reamer and get to 10mm. I just wasn't sure if the carbon props required a
certain delicacy that isn't required when doing APCs.

Yeah, that's probably true.. When I cut a piece of wood off too short, no
matter how many more times I cut it, it's still too short.

I'd recommend starting with a SLIGHTLY SMALLER drill bit and then working

You may find it doesn't work so well trying to drill a smaller hole starting
with a larger one . . .
.

But things may work differently in Texas . . .<330.gif>

Do you start at a size slightly larger than the diameter of the whole and
then work my way up to 10mm for the Neu motor?. . .
