Scott, 

I use the multi-step reamer. I suggest to do this by hand or install it the reamer in the press and turn it by hand if you want to make sure is square. I have been doing this by hand with not issues. I got mine many years ago from Harry ?????. Forgot how to spell his last name. I think is hard to find now

I'd recommend starting with a SLIGHTLY SMALLER drill bit and then working your way to larger sizes . . . .

You may find it doesn't work so well trying to drill a smaller hole starting with a larger one . . . 
. 
But things may work differently in Texas . . .

Do you start at a size slightly larger than the diameter of the whole and then work my way up to 10mm for the Neu motor?. . .
