It's strange...  I've been following this thread and am a little confused on the reasoning for the idea

that the Nats attendance would be "down".  Everyone I've talked to about the possibility that the 

worlds and Nats would be held back to back, loved the idea and wants to attend.  These are people

that don't usually attend the Nats.  They want to catch the semis and finals, then fly in the Nats, 

with hopes that some of the worlds pilots would stay and fly our Nats!
