Hey Larry,

Be careful putting it in June. Most people can't do 3 contests weekends in a row and you'll be sandwiching it between 2 VERY well established D4/D5 contests in the Muncie shoot out and the Chicago Hoffman Estate (Jimmy Hubbard Memorial) contest.  I fear you'll have very low attendence.  I for one would not be able to attend that many in a row.

Looking at the D4 schedule, I was thinking about the 3rd week in June. This
seems to be a gap between an early June contest and the NATS. For D5 there
is a hole, but that would cover every weekend in June for D5.

Later than the NATs and my concern is the length of day. The 3rd week of
June is nearing the longest day and would help in clearing the sun late
morning.

Seems to be some interest so I will take the next step.

 What kind of interest would a contest the Sat and Sun before the nats
attract? It's close enough distance wise. Would guys do a contest as a warm
up on their way in to the nats? Mike
