Amazing how the adjusters outlast their first plane.  I make my own in less than 5 min. Find a CF rod of the right diameter or a bit smaller. The 3/16 work well. Roll a half inch strip of waxed paper around it then sprial wrap some seam tape, wetting each layer with thin CA. 3 or 4 passes is all you need. If you make a length of 2 inches you can sand the ends flat then bisect it to make a pair.
