The Sanyo Eneloop cells are a newer type of NiMH cell that has a much 
low self discharge rate, meaning that you can charge them up and let 
them site literally for weeks before flying with them and still be fine. 
They hold up to 90% at 6 months and 85% of their charge at 1 year.

You charge them like most NiMH with the exception that Sanyo recommends 
no more than a C/2 rate. They come in 2 sizes - AAA=800 mAh and AA=2,000 
mAh. They only come in the consumer button top cell configuration.
