[NSRCA-discussion] What makes the YS "tick"?

All YS engines have that ticking or clicking sound that seems to come from where the cam followers rise and fall over the cam as you rotate the prop around.  My YS 140 DZs seem to have a much more pronounced sound than my 160DZ, 170DZ or my 140FZ does.  So, first question, is this a trait of the 140DZs?  Second, is an increase in the "ticking/clicking" loudness on any YS a sign of something that needs to be addressed/fixed?
