Thanks for the correction re ethanol. Yeah, the mini florescents are a dumb idea. All you need to do is break one and you need a Hazmat team to legally clean up the mercury.

Government is into Ethanol not Methanol. Ethanol is derived from plants, Methanol mostly from oil. Ethanol puts out CO2, which is not a problem, because global warming is a total crock.
So all you E-heads using grossly inefficient generators to charge batteries need not fret too bad. Other than putting out far more noxious gaseous garbage than glow fuel, rest assured that you are not nearly as bad as the IMAC gassers nor significantly contributing to global warming.
Besides, the priority here is get in 6 flights......
Anyone want to talk about how stupid the mini fluorescent light bulbs are?

Hmmm, not so sure about that. One thing we've discovered as a result of the Feds forcing large scale methanol production for autos is that a large amount of fossil fuel has to be burned to process the methanol production. A lot of fresh water gets wasted as well.

Alcohol-based fuels (glow fuel) burn cleaner than gasoline (used to run your generator). Especially as far as NOx and CO are concerned. And you don't need to change the oil on a glow engine (you have to change the oil on your generator). So we (IC guys) are actually more ecologically responsible than you E-heads are. :)

Hey that's a sound thought. Heck for the little bit extra it's pretty versatile. Only problem is the weight the 2000 is a little heavy. 1 other advantage is you can probably let all your friends tap off of it and it'll save the world of all those lousy green house gasses that the IC guys are pushin out all the time.
