[NSRCA-discussion] MK Tail wheel

Thanks Earl,

I was sort of already on that path. Drilled out the wheel and narrowed the hub, but just holding it on with a #2 washer and a dollop of JBweld to hold it in place. I just wasn't sure how long that would last. The MK wheel is lighter and much narrower. Glad to know both can work and both are available.

Been using the DuBro 3/4" wheel on the MK assembly for years. Drill the hub to fit the axle, chamfer the "inside" of the hub hole (allows the wheel to run closer to the strut), CA wheel to hub, use a (drilled out) 2-56 nut soldered to the axle for a retainer.

Does MK make (and does anyone sell) a replacement tail wheel for their light plastic tail wheel assembly? I hate to replace the whole thing just because the wheel came off. It's a very thin wheel so the small Dubro's don't work. Suggestions?
